My Background:
I was born and raised in the Blue Ridge mountains of Georgia, approximately 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. The seasons are beautiful in this region and the temperature is generally mild all year round.
I attended Towns County Comprehensive School (home of the Indians) and White County High School (home of the Warriors), where I graduated in 1998.
I am a 2002 graduate of North Georgia College & State University, where I was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish.
Upon graduation, I worked as the Family Advocate Worker for Towns County Family Connection. Family Connection is located at Towns County Schools. I was an assistant coach for Junior Varsity Fastpitch Softball and 8th Grade Girls Basketball.
Hobbies & Interests:
I enjoy reading almost anything, playing or coaching softball and basketball, running and hiking, handcrafting beaded jewelry, and traveling to spanish-speaking countries.
My Family:
My mother, Connie, (when she's not traveling the world) lives and works in Helen. Chad, my little brother, 'putts' around in Oakwood while my father and stepmom, Wesley and Sherry, live in Young Harris with my stepsister, Nicole. My cocker spaniel, Kanela, lives with me in Huaraz, Peru.
